Should my spouse be there?
Your spouse is welcome. You can also come alone or bring someone you trust.

The fair worry
You may handle the money but share the life it supports. If that's your situation, hearing the answers together can help.
The answer
If you both join, each of you can ask what matters. One question might be about monthly spending. Another might be what income the survivor would have. On the same Zoom, you both hear the answer directly.
I don't expect your spouse to know every money detail. The consultation gives you a place to look at those details together.
If you're making the choices on your own, a grown child can join. A friend or sibling is welcome too. You can also keep the consultation just for yourself.
At your consultation
Use your free consultation to get the questions on the table together. Neither of you has to make a decision that day.
