All questions
How much should I put in?
Short answer
There's no one right amount, and it doesn't have to be all or nothing.

The fair worry
Putting money in one place can feel like a big step. I'd want to see the whole picture too.
The answer
The starting point is what your money has to do: pay bills, provide income, and stay within reach. Those jobs shape how much goes where.
So look at two things together: how much would sit in one contract, and what you'd need to reach while early withdrawal charges apply.
I can't say what amount fits you. That's your retirement advisor's job, using your needs and the money you have.
The downside
Money you may need soon doesn't suit a long contract.
At your consultation
Your free Zoom consultation puts YOUR savings beside those jobs. Your advisor will work through what could go in and what you'd have left.
